Conquer Crete's Trails and Terrain

My husband and I spent three months in Chania and were able to explore part of the island around Chania on a running basis with Helen from Cretan Wild. Helen showed us the most beautiful trails and with her joy of running and her love for Crete, she took us to the most beautiful corners….

I ran with cretan wild in Malaxa trail and on Rodopos peninsula and I loved it! Helen had everything well organized, I felt safe and she also helped me with the trail running technique. It is also amazing to run with such a running star and hear all the running stories from the past. I hope I will have a chance to come back and run on Crete again!

The full moon trek to Pachnes was one of the best experiences I had this summer. Watching the sun set and the moon rise from the peak of the mountain was breathtaking …and a great compensation for the uphill trek! 🙂

An amazing hiking experiece to Samaria Gorge! On top of organizing everything and knowing all the details, Helen is also a wonderful hiking companion. A really fun day, plus Helen’s comprehensive knowledge of first aid created a really safe atmosphere on the technical terrain of Samaria.
